Vinyasa.
Challenging yet accessible. We link breath and movement to awaken your body and mind to a new level of awareness. As you transition from posture to posture, through intelligent sequencing and conscious breathing, you will develop a focused state of mind, along with a strong, healthy body. Vinyasa means flow. At the start of the class, we flow one breath one movement. Then we begin to hold postures to focus on breath and alignment. You will develop new neural pathways, whilst letting go naturally of old limiting beliefs and habits that do not serve you now. This all levels class is our signature class at natural presence.
-
Power.
Power vinyasa is a strong and rigorous practice. Your ability to stay focused, yet relaxed, is where you access your power. The sequences are similar to our signature vinyasa sequence. We offer alternative progressions, including inversions and arm balances, backbends and transitions. This all levels class will challenge you, yet it is accessible to all levels.
-
YinYang.
This beautifully balanced class of yin and yang yoga is accessible to all walks of life. The first half of the class is vinyasa-based where we transition through a series of standing postures. The second half of class, you are on the floor, where we hold the postures for ten breaths or more. The dynamic yang practice focuses your mind, and mobilises and strengthens your body, whilst the passive yin practice stills and quiets your mind. Physically, yin yoga accesses the deeper tissues and ligaments to allow old scar tissue, protective holding patterns, and postural misalignment within your body to open, release and reset to optimal muscle length tension and joint range of motion. Accessible to all, the perfect reset.
-
Hatha.
Our Hatha classes are more postural based, rather than a flowing vinyasa style practice. The first half of the class is standing and balancing postures with no hand, wrist or shoulder weight-bearing pressure. The second half of class is floor-based for backbends, core stability, hips and twists. This all levels class is suited for people looking for a strong non-flowing vinyasa type class.

YinMeditation.
Yin yoga is a great lead into meditation. If you find it hard to meditate, then this is your answer. It will help you relax, and soften the issues in your tissues. As you surrender to gravity, you will feel deeper levels of sensation within your body. The Buddha said that the seed of all thought is sensation. Learning how to become aware of the many sensations within your body will uproot past belief systems that do not serve you now. The first forty minutes, you are on the floor, holding yin postures for 3-5 minutes; the last 20 minutes is contemplative meditation. Accessible to all, and essential for the busy-minded.
